After extensive testing, the 3D printing software 4D_Additive from the Franco-German software developer CoreTechnologie with its integrated HP plugin has been approved by the printer manufacturer. This latest advancement enables users to conveniently transmit build jobs directly from the user interface of the 3D printing software to all HP Multijet Fusion printers of the latest 52xx series.
Automated 3D Printing Process
Thanks to powerful 3D nesting functions and a wide variety of interfaces, the 4D_Additive tool imports CAD models of all common formats, automatically places them in the build space and sends them seamlessly to the HP print server. The build space of the HP machines designed for production are reliably filled with the software in a highly automated process, as the nesting of the components is carried out with collision control.
The easy-to-use software, which can be used for all common 3D printing processes, has a comprehensively revised module for creating grid structures, such as for lightweight components. A practical additional function of 4D_Additive is the generation of textures on the component surfaces of the CAD models. Analysis functions for determining critical wall thicknesses and optimising component alignment as well as powerful repair functions help to optimise the 3D printing workflow with a single software package.
